राम जाने को एक सुरक्षा गार्ड ने अपने सबसे अच्छे दोस्त के साथ ट्रेन से माल चोरी करने के बाद गिरफ्तार किया है। वह जल्द ही रिहा हो जाता है और शहर के सबसे बड़े हसलरों में से एक बन जाता है।

यह फिल्म बिल्कुल मनोरंजक है। राम जाने का किरदार कितना मनोरंजक है, उनका अंदाज और बोलने का तरीका पागलपन है। अगर आपको एक्शन फिल्में और शाहरुख खान पसंद हैं। यह देखने लायक है।

Ram Jaane is arrested by a security guard along with his best friend after stealing goods from the train. He is soon released and becomes one of the biggest hustlers in town.
After a fatal shootout, he is arrested by a corrupt police officer and sent to prison once again. After being in prison for a few years, he goes back to the streets and to his friend’s place.
There he decides to help raise local children in the area so that they are not corrupted by the streets. He quickly falls in love with childhood sweetheart Bela (Juhi Chawla), but he too goes back to his old ways.
Ram Jaane is a Bollywood tryst in the gangster genre. Does it succeed in entertainment and is it worth watching.
The answer is yes and it is only because of Shahrukh Khan’s performance. Ram Jaane (Shah Rukh Khan) is about an orphan who is thrown in the bin and grows up to be a street-wise smart gangster.
Once Ram Jaane becomes a gangster, there is no proper conspiracy. This is Ram Jaane and his lifestyle. Shahrukh Khan has given a great performance. Why doesn’t he do more roles like this?
The very sexy Juhi Chawla is also in a good role in the film. The other actor is Vivek Mushram who is long gone and forgotten. Pankaj Kapur is entertaining as the funny gangster.
This film is absolutely entertaining. Ram Jaane’s character is so amusing, his style and manner of speaking is insane. If you like action movies and shahrukh khan. it’s worth seeing.
I’ve seen Angels with Dirty Face (James Cagney) before I saw Ram Jaane. In fact, I was so impressed with “Angels” that I thought if I had to make a film that would be a remake of “Angels”, then I watched “Ram Jaane”.
Cagney is definitely the best in the original.
Sharukh Khan plays James Cagney and Vivek Mushran plays Pat O’Brien and Juhi Chawla has revived the role of Ann Sheridan.
Personally, I think they never came close to the original. The ending in the original, “Ram Jaane” is much better and less played than the loud ending which makes “Angels” a better film.
If you have seen Ram Jaane then you will find “Angels” a better movie, however, if you have not already seen the original Ram Jaane.
The music of Ram Jaane is worth forgetting and watching “Angels” makes you wonder if songs were needed for Ram Jaane!
This film has an interesting story. The two founding orphans are childhood friends: one turns his misfortune into an opportunity to help others, while the other is unable to rise above his tragic beginnings and turns to guilt.
Murali, the good orphan (Vivek Mushran) now runs an orphanage himself, while Ram Jaane (played by Shah Rukh Khan,
And so named because when he asks a priest what his name is, the priest replies “God knows!” “Ram Jaane!”) works for an evil criminal.
Juhi Chawla is the sweet girl, who is in love with both the men, but who has eyes only for Murli.
Shah Rukh Khan, the undisputed King of Bollywood, is a charming, spirited, charismatic actor who is unfortunately prone to atrocious overacting without provocation.
Ram is about to go. Although he has moments of sheer genius in this film (I was in tears reading his goodbye letter to Bella) his incessant chewing becomes a distraction in many scenes.
Khan is perfectly capable of delivering subtle, thoughtful performances, and it’s hard to see why the director hasn’t reignited her a bit here.
There is so much potential in the character of Ram Jaane; He’s a oppressed soul who craves love and tries his own way to be loyal and virtuous, but lacks the moral tools to make the right choices… if played with a little less hamming then this Could have been a great film.
However, Vivek Mushran and Juhi Chawla play their characters well, and there are many good songs:
The title song is Ram Jaane, another short cutie called Chori Chori in which Juhi and Shah Rukh dance in a field of Ram Jaane’s imagination, and a frantic dance number called Pump Up The Bangra which is a lot of fun.
This film has its moments but overall fails to live up to its potential.
I remember how excited I was to see Ram Jaane, I was thinking to myself “This film is definitely going to be a blast like all other Shah Rukh and Juhi films; I can’t wait to see it! “
But I was wrong… Ram Jaane fell far below my expectations. The story is really not that exciting or that boring on the other hand, you can say that it is about average.
Also, Shah Rukh and Juhi were not even together in this film! I know Shah Rukh fell in love with Juhi in Ram Jaane, but he was interested in some other guy who practically took away all the fun of the film!
As for acting, I must say that Shah Rukh did a great job playing his role and Juhi did a great job playing Bela.
I, being a Shah Rukh-Juhi fan, was really disappointed after watching Ram Jaane and I know many other Shah Rukh-Juhi fans were also disappointed.

I remember this movie when it first came out and watched it on DVD. The story is very depressing, though not really that far from reality.
There’s a lot of violence and a fiery underworld in general, but that all fades with the presence of Shah Rukh Khan.
In fact the biggest strength of the film is the remarkable performance of Shah Rukh Khan as the lead protagonist. He is believable as a victim of circumstances, possessing great moral strength and the ability to fight back, but he also has pathos.
He has retained the sympathy of the audience throughout. Heroine Juhi Chawla is rather weak.
We can understand the passion and love of ‘Hero’ for him but cannot exclude him. We have to take it in her words that she loves Murali with good character and is pretending to have love or affection for the protagonist.
But there is no conflict in her feelings nor is there any proof of what she really feels for the character of Shahrukh.
Is he able to get over her at all? The conclusion in this regard is unsatisfactory. A movie worth watching for Shah Rukh Khan acting.
I was quite excited when I saw that the film was a gangster flick with my favorite Indian actor, Shah Rukh Khan, yet the mere presence of SRK doesn’t make the film any better, in fact for once I think it makes it worse.
The movie is a pathetic remake of WB’s Angels starring James Cagney (the part played by SRK) with dirty faces and I think SRK has mixed a lot of Cagney with Amitabh Bachchan’s Simpleton in Don (the chew thing) .
But this cocktail put me off. Although I honestly love him, his overacting is really terrible, one of the worst performances of his career, but the rest of the cast, though less excessive, isn’t that amazing either.
The film is filled with a series of nerve-wracking songs that never seem to end, when I saw SRK and Juhi on a boat near a sunny desert island, it was really too much!!
Plus it seems like it lasts forever! The first half hour is tolerable, and there’s a lot of good action sequences in one go.
If you wonder where Farah Khan got the great idea of slipping on SRK’s knees between a villain’s legs in Main Hoon Na, he got it, and it works great.
But other than that there isn’t much to save.
It is a pity to make a remake of an overall good American film into a terrible Bollywood film, yet they have been lucky with other remakes like Nayakan (Mani Ratnam) which is a remake of The Godfather and is really worth watching.
The film epitomizes love, death and passion. It successfully captures the themes of each aspect, in a breathtaking acting performance from lead protagonist Ram Jaane (Shah Rukh Khan),
With other actors/actresses.
The acting depicts the situations in every scene. Finally, and how can I forget, the songs, catchy and powerful.
